I recently had the opportunity to represent my school and compete at Lockheed Martin’s Annual , Code Quest Competition. I participated at the Fort Worth Campus. The event was composed of , a coding contest and a tour of the facility. The contest was a great way for me and my team to , put our skills to a test and also learn from other teams from around the state. It was an , interesting format: each problem had a specific amount of points you would get depending on , the difficulty. I believe one of the interesting aspects of the competition was that between the , end of the competition and the announcements of the results there was time for teams to talk , to each other and discuss problems and their solutions. After the competition, we also got a , chance to get a tour around the factory and see planes in the progress of being built. We , learned about the different tools being used in the facilities, as well as the assembly format of , the factory. We saw fighter jets that were in various stages of assembly. Overall the event was a , great experience to get a chance to work as a team to work on out coding abilities and even , meet other people that share our passion for computer science. , , , , ,
